Knox Hyndman

Our Pastor and Teaching Elder is Rev Knox Hyndman, B.A. A native of Belfast, Mr Hyndman obtained a degree in Modern History at the Queens University of Belfast, his theological training at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological College, also in Belfast, and at the Reformed Theological Seminary, Pittsburgh Pa. USA. He was first ordained as a minister of the gospel in 1969, and was at the same time installed as pastor in the congregation of Ballyclare Reformed Presbyterian Church, Co Antrim, where he ministered for 16 years. He has been Pastor in Newtownards congregation since 1985. As well as his responsibilities within our congregation Mr Hyndman also lectures in Church History at the Reformed Theological College, Belfast. He is married to Edith; they have three children - Conor, Charlotte and Hannah.
