"Christian advocates of critical theory frequently claim that it is a neutral tool to help us think through issue. That is not true. The existence of such allegedly neutral tools is in doubt but consider math as a fairly benign tool. Math might be used to build a bridge or a bomb. There is nothing inherent in math that leads to either outcome. Critical theory is not like math. Critical theory was formulated laden with assumptions about the nature of man, the nature of things, the meaning of life, metaphysics, and even God. In other words, critical theory is really critical theology and it was designed to be destructive of Christianity. It is much more like a bomb than a bridge."
