Ecclesia Semper Reformanda

“Ecclesia reformata semper reformanda est secundum Verbum Dei”

(The church Reformed and always reforming according to the Word of God)

“Semper Reformanda” is Latin for “Always Reforming”. Not a charge for the church to evolve in an ever-changing culture, but a battle cry to continuously reform the church in accord with scripture.  Thus the church should always be seeking to change in ways that make its testimony more faithful to God’s revelation.

“For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11).
