Praying for Missions

"Have you noticed that missionaries almost always say that their greatest
need is prayer? Perhaps you sometimes think that is just what they are
supposed to say—the standard missionary speech. The real issue is the
money, right?
The truth is, without prayer, the money is useless. Through the ages,
missionaries have known that only God can save the lost, heal the sick, or
accomplish anything for His kingdom. And He chooses to work through
prayer. Jesus said, “I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son
may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name,
